Melo: Loc. Abetone (Pistoia)

Small township rurala high mountain located on the same side of the capital, Melo (1007 metres above sea level) is the summer holiday resort and a starting point for excursions to Open Book, and Horn Lake Scaffaiolo to Stairs. This hamlet has around him many farms and farm offering visitors organic products. The area also has significance for the collection of forest fruits.
