The Hotel is 3 km far from the ski area of the Abetone where it is possible to practice sports winter to all the levels (with the relative schools).  In the summery period excursions can be carried out on foot, in mountain-bike or to horse following the routes of C.A.I and G.E.A. The local group trekking organizes gite guided in the more evocative places of the outskirtses (Tower of the Fattucchio, Black Lago, Orrido di Botri, etc). Interesting are the visits:
- BOTANICAL GARDEN (2,5 km), alpine garden that receives numerous arboreal plants in via of extinction. It covers an area of 14.000 mq with typical vegetation of the Appennine forest. The garden is visitabile with guide from 1987.
- CAMPOLINO RESERVOIR NATURAL, of great naturalistic interest, mainly for the presence of the Red, typical Fir of the Alps of Europe Centers them.
